I was taking a road trip up through the northeast, and noticed on the Sunoco stations that they have a sign saying "fuel contains 10% ethanol".... this is the first time I have seen that, and was curious about it....so I researched, and found out that it is NOT required for fuel companies to tell how much ethanol they put in their fuel if it is 10% or less.... so, here are my questions....I have read that using Gasohal (E5, E7, or E10) is bad for the old style injectors and causes them to fail...so I would like to know: #1 what is the truth behind this? what about ethanol causes the injectors to fail? Everything online sings praises about ethonal #2 Since we can be getting Gasohal at any pump, does anyone know which companies sell ethanal impregnated fuel and who doesn't? I was not able to find a list online just curious...thoughts?
